Terms of Use

Chainline · ARC Loops · Last updated: July 2026

These Terms govern access to the Chainline marketing site and, where applicable, evaluation or production use of the Chainline software and related services provided by ARC Loops. Enterprise production use is typically governed by a separate order form or master services agreement.

The service

Chainline is a document approval workspace for Microsoft 365 organisations. Features may include request submission, approval chains, Teams notifications, document storage, and audit capabilities as described on https://chainline.arcloops.io and in your contract.

Accounts and access

Product access is tied to your organisation’s Microsoft Entra ID. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate admin consent, user roles, and internal policies for who may submit or approve documents.

Customer content

Your organisation retains ownership of documents and request data submitted to Chainline. You grant ARC Loops a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the service. You represent that you have the rights to upload content you submit.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Attempt to access other customers’ data or environments
  • Probe, overload, or disrupt the service outside of authorised security testing
  • Use the service to violate law or third-party rights
  • Misrepresent Chainline demo or sample data as production records

Demo and sample data

Interactive demos may use fictional organisations (such as Merchant Pro) and sample documents. Demo environments are provided as-is for evaluation and may be reset without notice.

Warranties and liability

The marketing site and any free evaluation access are provided without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. For paid Enterprise deployments, warranty, SLA, and liability terms are set out in the applicable commercial agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Material changes to paid services will be communicated as required by your agreement.
